“Paint for a Purpose”
[Ongoing]

Our new “Paint for a Purpose” program offers custom art for local businesses in exchange for donations to help support our nonprofit cultural arts center!

Look for new murals coming soon!

Proceeds support local art workshops for kids, community outreach in the form of pop-up art and living history exhibits, as well as our “big hairy goal” of placing a train car in downtown Murrieta to operate as our city’s first cultural arts center, offering even more ways to learn about family history, local history and explore our community’s artistic side.

Whether you’re an experienced writer or simply curious about putting pen to paper, this workshop with author and writing coach Kate Anger invitesyou to explore how memory, place, and lived experience can shape meaningful stories.

How can Pearl help you?

Pearl works with local families and organizations to explore our shared past and create immersive historical and genealogical experiences together in our community.

Programs

Family Reunion Event Planning

It’s time to finally plan that family reunion, no matter what the scale and size of the family and event. Pearl can offer ideas to incorporate family storytelling and history in the event, as well as providing props for entertainment and tools to help capture the momentous occasion to share with future generations.

Community Art Projects, Events, and Exhibits

Creating new ways for our community to come together for a shared purpose. Pearl will help plan and host your event, bringing a unique combination of history and contemporary arts to the project. Pop-up style exhibits can be themed toward a variety of lessons that aim to combine historical topics with modern technology.

Ancestry/ Genealogy Research Support

Want to learn more about your own family history? Bring your questions and curiosities to Pearl and we will help guide you on your own family history journey to discover the stories of those who came before you, and helped pave the way for you to be here.

Storytelling and Creative Arts Workshops

Let Pearl share her story with your class or group to become inspired to share their own personal histories through storytelling or creative arts expression. We can share a topical story to emphasize a particular time period or lesson of interest to your group.

Let’s plan something great together.
