2023

In March of 2023, an agreement was made with the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris, California to donate the diner to our nonprofit cultural arts center to restore and convert to a local museum.

Now numbered 906201 and painted in utilitarian grey for the Maintenance of Way service it retired from, “Pearl” graciously accepted this gift and the responsibilities that come with it, ie restoration and eventual relocation to Murrieta.
